Terms of Service

1. Operator and acceptance

Salor Invoice is operated by Salor Works, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“Salor Works,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use Salor Invoice for a business, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that business and to connect the relevant Shopify store.

If you do not agree, do not install or use Salor Invoice. Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@salorworks.app.

2. What Salor Invoice does

Salor Invoice helps merchants extract information from supplier invoices, match invoice lines to Shopify products or variants, review proposed changes, and apply selected updates to a connected Shopify store. The app may also keep product mappings, import history, usage records, and settings needed to provide these workflows.

The app is an operational aid, not accounting, tax, legal, inventory valuation, or financial advice. You remain responsible for your store, records, tax treatment, supplier documents, and business decisions.

3. OCR, AI, and merchant review

Salor Invoice uses optical character recognition and AI-assisted extraction. Supplier documents vary, and automated results may be incomplete, duplicated, incorrectly matched, or wrong. Tax, discount, quantity, currency, unit-cost, and product-matching errors can occur even when a document appears clear.

You must review the original invoice, every proposed match, and every value before choosing Apply. You are responsible for correcting results and for any change you approve. Do not rely on Salor Invoice as the sole copy of an invoice or as a substitute for appropriate accounting and stock-control procedures.

4. Changes the app can make in Shopify

Depending on the options you select and the Shopify permissions granted, Salor Invoice can:

• update an inventory item's product cost;
• adjust available inventory quantity at the store location selected by the app;
• update a matched variant's selling price when you provide an override;
• create a draft product and its default variant when you choose that workflow; and
• activate a draft product associated with an approved invoice row.

The review screen controls which available updates are submitted. Shopify may reject a change because of permissions, validation, inventory configuration, API availability, or platform rules. You should verify the final values in Shopify after applying an update.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

• provide accurate account and store information;
• upload only invoices and other content you are authorized to process;
• avoid uploading unnecessary personal, sensitive, unlawful, or malicious content;
• protect access to your Shopify account and authorized users;
• review proposed changes and maintain appropriate backups, exports, or reconciliation procedures; and
• use the app in accordance with law and Shopify's terms and policies.

6. Beta and early-access service

Salor Invoice may be offered in development, beta, private testing, or early access. During these stages, features may be incomplete, change without notice, have usage limits, or be suspended. Data formats and workflows may change, and the app may contain defects or experience interruptions.

We may use merchant feedback to improve Salor Invoice, but we are not required to adopt a suggestion or release a planned feature. We will not identify a merchant publicly as a tester without permission.

7. Plans, billing, and taxes

Beta or early-access use may be free. If paid plans are enabled, the price, billing interval, included usage, and any trial will be shown before you approve a charge through Shopify. Current paid plans, when available, are recurring subscriptions billed every 30 days in US dollars through Shopify. Shopify may display or process charges in another currency.

You authorize Shopify to charge the payment method associated with your store for approved recurring charges and applicable taxes. Plan limits and features may change for a future billing period, but we will provide notice where required before a material price change applies.

8. Cancellation and refunds

You may stop using Salor Invoice and cancel an active subscription through the available Shopify controls or by uninstalling the app. Cancellation normally stops future renewal; it does not automatically reverse a charge for a billing period that has already started.

Charges are generally non-refundable once charged, except where required by law or where Shopify applies a refund. If you believe a charge is incorrect or the paid service was materially unavailable, contact support promptly. We will review the circumstances and any remedy available through Shopify's billing system.

9. Privacy, uninstall, and data deletion

Our Salor Invoice Privacy Policy explains what data the app processes, its service providers, retention, and privacy-request procedures.

Extracted invoice data and import history are retained for 12 months from processing by default. Merchants can select a 6-month retention period or delete stored invoice data sooner. Product and supplier mappings and app settings are retained while the app remains installed, and identifiable operational and security events are retained for up to 90 days.

Uninstalling removes the app's access to your store and initiates Shopify's app-deletion process. Remaining shop data is deleted following Shopify's verified deletion request or an authorized merchant request, subject to information we must retain by law. Uninstalling does not reverse changes previously applied to Shopify.

10. Support

Support is available through the Salor Invoice Support page. Our current target is to respond within 1-2 business days. Response times are targets, not guarantees, and may be longer during incidents or early-access testing.

11. Availability and changes

We may maintain, update, restrict, or discontinue all or part of Salor Invoice. Availability can depend on Shopify, Microsoft Azure, OpenAI, Supabase, Vercel, internet services, and other systems outside our direct control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may update these terms as the app changes. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date. If a material change affects active paid use, we will provide additional notice where required.

12. Intellectual property

Salor Works and its licensors retain rights in Salor Invoice, its software, design, documentation, and branding. You retain rights in your invoices, store data, and other content. You grant us a limited right to process that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

13. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, Salor Invoice is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not warrant that extraction, matching, calculations, or Shopify updates will be complete or correct.

Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Salor Works will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunities, or inventory discrepancies arising from Salor Invoice.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the app or these terms will not exceed the amount you paid for Salor Invoice during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.

15. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, create security or legal risk, misuse the service, fail to pay an approved charge, or if Shopify requires us to do so. Where reasonable, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law, will survive.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you, the courts of Dubai will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or Salor Invoice.
